Plan the cleaning around the handover
Book once the moving and inspection dates are known. Plan the clean after the property has been emptied, with water, electricity and access available. Leave time to check the agreed areas before handing over the keys, and tell the cleaning company if tradespeople will return afterwards.
Compare quotes on the same scope
Check whether each quote covers the same kitchen appliances, cupboards, bathrooms, window sides, frames, blinds and annexes. Confirm any exclusions and the conditions for a cleaning follow-up. The number of rooms alone does not make two offers comparable; condition, access and the time before inspection also matter.
Prepare the information for your quote
Send your town, floor area, number of rooms, moving date and inspection date. Add photos of the kitchen, bathrooms, windows and heavily marked areas. List any balcony, cellar or blinds to include, and distinguish cleaning requests from damaged or worn surfaces that may need repairs.
